Yep. Today is National Squirrel Day.
This was a great discovery for me because I recently acquired a little squirrel friend. Isn't he cute?
He lives above the closet door of my bedroom closet. I positioned him so that if he were to throw his acorn, it would land in my cat's water glass. I thought it was funny. She doesn't, but what cat finds anything funny about a squirrel? :)

He is cute. I have a blue owl that was given to me by Leen of LeentheGraphicsQueen of etsy. I like how something so simple can add fun to a space.
How cute is that! I've always had a soft spot for squirrels. They are so diligent about their "work" but yet take time out of their busy day of gathering nuts to chase each other and play. i obviously spent a few too many hours sitting outside at my campus that was full of them.
